5 Elements Yoga Exploration
According to the ancient principles of yogic science, the whole of creation, (in both its animate and inanimate forms, consciousness, intellect, imagination, intuition, creativity, and all mind-bound activities included), is formed by the constant interplay of 5 elements: earth, water, fire, air and space.
These same yogic principles explain that each of us is different and has a different constitution made out of these five elements, in a way that would have any imbalance leading to physical or psychological disturbances, or simply hampering one's ability to realise her/his full potential in life. In fact, one of the aims of Yoga, as a science and practice, is to balance one's elemental constitution.
Gain new subtler tools of introspection. Join our course to explore all the aspects makes you you as an individual, through the prism of the 5 Elements, giving you a practical understanding to diagnose and rectify any imbalance encountered.
This course is designed to be a fun, and informative, exploration of our constitutional relationship with the 5 elements, as well as a supportive environment in which we can learn to balance your own elements.
Through it we will look at
1) every element and its qualities, dominant and deficient attributes, as well as
2) specific yogic approach/practices to work with each element; (for example, a vigorous, dynamic class which burns a lot of calories and stimulates your motivation will be marked with the fire element.
