Holistic Fitness

My approach to fitness coaching is based on the skills, knowledge and wisdom gained through a lifetime's passion for physical health, activity and movement.

It is also anchored in a personal journey that started with asthma at the age of two, leading to a decade of Aikido, swimming and yoga followed by another decade spent mostly surfing and being a teenager, all the way to my first year at university.

Seamlessly afterwards, there was, alongside pursuing a career as an aeronautical engineer, more yoga, Qigong, Shiatsu, Capoera.

By then, I had entered my late twenties, into a period that coincides with past fifteen years, or so, which was spent exploring among other unrelated subjects, physical Therapy, Osteopathy and rehabilitative Fitness coaching.

All of it was woven with a lot of traveling, a lot of walking, (my favorite physical activity), and a few breaks due to a few somewhat-debilitating and wisdom-imparting injuries.

Today, I can say with assurance that this journey makes me a staunch believer in the long term benefits of exercise and movement when embraced with regularity and mindfulness.

2) providing with you with attentive and professional coaching and guidance that shall lead you to a healthy, empowered, independent relationship with your physical health and fitness.

Personal Fitness/Wellness Coach

My Personal Training Programs are specifically designed to meet your goals.

The foundational principles of my method are

1) adaptive live coaching and support,

2) functional training,

3) proper alignment, and

4) adequate, no-nonsense nutrition.

Most sessions include warm-ups, Core training, targeted workouts, and cool downs, as well as techniques and know-how to help you either prevent, or recover and heal from all sorts of training-related aches and pains.

Walking Buddy/Partner

If walking is your 'thing', and if you need a walking buddy/partner, for either safety or company, do not hesitate to contact me. Walking is my favorite activity.

Surf and Swimming Coaching

If there are two physical activities that have dearly been quintessiential shapers of my life and personality, they would be surfing and swimming.

Not only did I wok as seasonal lifeguard, but also I used to teach swimming to children when I was in college, as well as, more recently, a surf instructor for a couple of seasons.

Clearly, if you wish to get started with either one of these activities, I would be very honored and happy to assist you.

Full Body Circuit Training / Conditioning

A smart functional workout that targets your whole body, from your core to the periphery, making use of your own body weight, resistance bands, sandbags, dumbbells and kettlebells (in various combinations designed to continuously improve upon strength, balance, flexibility, endurance, and overall health, while avoiding plateaux and injuries).
