Easy Yoga

A gentle, simple and complete yoga practice designed to improve balance, calmness, stability, functional strength, structural (bone alignment) rehabilitation and relaxation.

If the thought of joining a yoga class intimidates you, or if you're a beginner, or someone who is getting back to the practice after a long break, or if you're recovering from an injury, or a physical condition that requires that you take it easy, this is the practice for you.

In jest, I sometimes call it, 'Yoga for the rest of us'. To that I usually add, jokingly of course, that while many people are attracted to 'advanced' yoga postures, and/or a sustained and unbreakably-paced practice filled with lots of hopping about, and a gazillion push-us, and some huffing and puffing thrown in along the way, while slipping and sliding in one's own pool of sweat, this practice is for those who wish to take a gentler approach to this cool and groovy thing called yoga.

Personally, I developed a great deal of appreciation for this type of practice, because of the many injuries I sustained during my active youth and young adulthood, as well as because, I feel that it is more effective in helping me calm down, slow down and reconnect - fyi, I used to be a bona fide, certified workaholic, rageaholic, son of a gun.

Eventually, it is healthy and sound to do what makes us happy, as long as it doesn't cause harm to others -of course.

Now, if you feel mildly excited about taking it easy with me, I'll say, that's the spirit, and bring it on -of course, I'll charge you for it though, 'cause you know... it's just more ethical that way.
