Cola Beach Integral Yoga Retreat -South Goa
Overview
Escape winter and join Govindanath for an amazingly transformative yoga and meditation retreat in south Goa, on the chilled-out gem of a beach beautiful Cola Beach.
Enjoy 3 or 6 days of sun, sea, clear starlit night skies, yoga, meditation, delicious and healthy meals, a plethora of opportunities to relax, and possibly a few massages to top it all nicely.
I promise you that you will return home feeling recharged and ready to take whatever life has in store for you back home.
This will be our 3rd stay at the Little Alcove Yoga Retreat, and we’re really thrilled about being there.
The Practice
Morning Yoga Flow sessions will be somewhat gentle, somewhat dynamic, creative, playful and explorative slowly paced flow asana practice and will all include meditation and pranayama. By cultivating equanimity, steadiness of breath, mindfulness, conscious action all participants will attain levels of organic presence in which everything will delightfully and skillfully be done just as it should. Subjects related to kundalini, the chakras and prana will also be explored during this session.
Evening Yoga Flow sessions will start dynamically to gradually move towards a slower, gentler, more soothing and nurturing practice. Consciously and skillfully riding the breath, we will progress from this deliciously restorative/yin inspired segment of the practice to to subtler states of being, via either Yoga Nidra or meditation.
We will always finish with enough time to watch the sun go down and maybe even indulge in a sunset swim.
About Govindanath
Govindanath has been teaching yoga and meditation for 24 years; across the globe, and in 3 languages.
His experience as a yoga enthusiast and as bodyworker/physical therapist, specialized in sports’ rehabilitation allows him to share his passion for yoga with all types of people, regardless of their physical abilities or limitations.
This same experience, combined with his playful nature, grant him a depth of insight that allows him to make the practice organically attainable, and yet challengingly fun for everyone involved.
Also, it has been noted that his own addiction to meditation is usually highly contagious.
Extra Curricular Activites

We will have one afternoon off yoga to allow for a longer excursion or dolphin watching boat trip which is included in the cost of the holiday.
Soulful Meals
Light fruit and teas are available before morning yoga and fruit and cookies mid-afternoon. Delicious, healthy, freshly cooked vegetarian meals are served in buffet style for brunch and dinner. There will be plenty of choice and variety and our hosts are great at accommodating specific dietary needs. Basically, get ready to feast!
Accommodation
Accommodation is in charming and comfortable beach cabins with ceiling fans and Ensuite bathrooms.
All cabins are set with direct sea views, and are only a few steps away from the sea.
