Karim's life-long relationship with hardship, shaming and unsettling change, along with his many encounters with chaos, loss, depression, grief, addiction, displacement, loneliness and alienation have been the main propellers in his search for harmony, wonder, stability, strength, resilience and contentment, both inwardly and outwardly. Karim spent almost two decades exploring many empowering and healing techniques and methodologies embedded in ancient traditions both esoteric and empirical. To understand and make peace with his own demons, he has studied and lived with medicine men in the Amazon, spent time with soul healers in Peru, Bolivia and mexico. He has visited and learned to navigate the spirit realms with native American healers from various tribes in northern America. In India, he lived in Ashrams, holy men and women, visited sacred sites, following the path of the spiritual seeker. Slowly, he delved into the intricately woven world of Tantra, until its symbols and rituals colored and infused his inner practice with its poetic and devotional beauty and light. Along his journey, he meandered into Judaism, Islam's Sufism, Christianity and even Hermes' Alchemy. In each of them, he would find the same message of liberation and surrender, the same approach, and even the same symbols, described differently, often warped, for the sake of defensive rigidity and self-interest, beyond recognition. No matter the tradition, humanity's pursuit of inner peace seem to point to the same path. A journey of the soul, to rejoin body to spirit, density to lightness, the finite to the infinite. If you feel a call to embark on such a journey, and wish for a little guidance for someone who has been on this path many times over, contact Karim at kfadali @ gmail . com. This isn't an invitation from a guru, or a spiritual master, but from a fellow spiritual journeyer, just like yourself. May you be connected to your inner light.
